Hello!

My name is Amanda and this is my passion!

I have earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Aspen University and have spent the last 5 years working in social work for the county supporting individuals with disabilities and their families. Through my work at the county level, I have gained hands on experience with a wide range of disability services including direct involvement in Consumer Directed Community Supports (CDCS) cases. This experience allows me to help people understand their options and create realistic plans that are person-centered and align with their goals. My work is also deeply personal as my daughter has disabilities of her own, giving me even more firsthand experience and a great understanding of the challenges, advocacy and care coordination families face. My approach to support planning is one rooted in empathy, respect, professionalism and partnership.

This is my first time working with support planners, and Amanda was a delight to work with. All of my questions were answered and all of my concerns were addressed. Communication has been great, and I'm confident that what could be a difficult process will actually be easier knowing there are trustworthy people helping me along the way!
